The role will manage the relationship with Versuni, our L'OR Barista machine manufacturing partner and together agree & deliver annual machine sales targets in line with company strategy, leveraging machine range & brewer promotional marketing investment to drive machine sales performance & subsequently support JDE's espresso capsules business performance.
The role will also drive Machine & Coffee Bundling to maximise JDE's L'OR & Costa's association with L'OR Barista and consequent loyalty vs competitor espresso capsule brands. In this regard the role will interface closely with JDE's ecommerce teams in delivering powerful business performance and brand delivery on lorespresso.com, Amazon and others.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering L'OR Barista Brewer machine sales in line with annual targets, managing accurate COGS and A&P budget alignments to ensure timely delivery of ambition.
- Connecting JDE Coffee Espresso Capsules sales as part of L'OR Barista system entry, ensuring that JDE maximises the benefit of the 'thruput' of L'Or capsules with the machines by managing Digital Performance campaign development and delivery and developing bundle/retention propositions with our partners.
- Managing and leading an engaged local machine partnership with Versuni, including partnering JDE & Versuni sales teams to effectively deliver in year distribution & promotional plans.
- Crafting the optimum Machine / Bundle portfolio strategy & Price Pack Architecture for UK/I and developing business cases for Brewer & Brewer driven Coffee NPD through internal approval gates.
- Building collaborative and influential partnership with Global JDE teams - working and owning the relationship in order to formulate a compelling 3-year roadmap for growth that unlocks / maximises growth by channel.
- Proactively seeking, aligning & executing against opportunities for growth – being the 'ear to the ground' in the brewer retail environment to identify opportunities and challenges ahead of time.
Qualifications Must have experience:

The L'OR Barista Commercial Business Manager is responsible for growing quality penetration of the L'OR Barista Machine brewer park in line with company ambition in order to accelerate growth of JDE espresso capsules coffee business. The L'OR Barista system and associated XXL capsule are strategically crucial to JDE's future growth strategy as consumers look to premiumise their coffee experience via coffee in home coffee machine usage.
