We are looking for someone ready to go above and beyond in everything they do, because we are inspired by our guests and one another, and we are driven to improve. When guests stay with us, it is not just accommodation with a bed they buy; it is an experience. We are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our Housekeeping team. Our apartments and houses are in various locations across Fratton & Southsea, Portsmouth.
AS A HOUSEKEEPER, YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Flexibility in hours of work
- Possibility to pick and choose the day to work
- Monthly pay, no invoice necessary
- £14.64/hour for Monday to Friday shifts and £17.72/hour for Saturday, Sunday and Bank holiday shifts on completion of training. Starting minimum £12.21/hour
NORMAL WORKING HOURS:
- A typical working day would be between 10:15 and 14:45. However, further options will be discussed at the interview.
- Predominantly we are hiring to work over the busy summer season, therefore it is essential to be able to work over school and summer holidays. Also, alternate Sundays. Please ensure your availability before applying.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensuring that guest apartments and houses are serviced to the highest standards of cleanliness within allotted times, including making beds and folding sheets, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and removing and sorting rubbish, dirty linen, keeping areas and corridors spotless, including but not limited to cleaning the walls, skirting boards, doors, windows etc.
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms, apartments, and houses, and ensure they are well-presented.
- If requested, greet guests, acknowledge them and take care of requests.
- Handle and store chemicals in accordance with company regulations, and actively report maintenance issues, hazards, and losses.
- If required, perform various property-related tasks – including meter readings, changing light bulbs, basic garden maintenance, trips to the shop, etc.
- Adhering to health and safety procedures, COSHH procedures, fire safety procedures and company policies.
- Working in different locations.
- Using software provided for your smartphone to enhance housekeeping team productivity.
- Attending training when required.
