As Finance Manager, you will take full ownership of the financial engine behind a well-respected independent busy lettings business, driving accuracy, compliance, and the insight that keeps everything moving forward.

Your responsibilities as Finance Manager:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including sales and purchase ledger activity
- Manage bank reconciliations, payroll, VAT returns, and P11Ds
- Produce monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Liaise with external accountants on year-end accounts and corporation tax
- Handle HMRC reporting, including landlord returns and non-resident tax payments
- Support and step into client account processes when required, ensuring continuity
- Lead the annual ARLA process with external auditors
What we're looking for in a Finance Manager:
- Previous experience managing finance ideally within a property or lettings environment
- Strong knowledge of management accounts, VAT, and payroll processes
- Experience liaising with external accountants and handling audits
- Confident managing multiple financial processes independently
- Familiarity with HMRC reporting requirements and compliance processes
- Able to manage and support a small team of 2
