Jacob Grey have just partnered with a growing manufacturing business to appoint a new FC to lead their day to day finance operations. Reporting to the joint Managing Directors (one of whom is also the CFO) your duties will include:
- Hands on preparation of the monthly Management Accounts including Balancesheet Recs, P&L production, Accruals, Prepayments and Journals
- Presenting the Management Accounts to the Senior Leadership Team with analysis and commentary
- Year End production
- Overseeing VAT submissions
- Managing and developing a small team of transactional staff
- Budget setting
- Cashflow forecasting
- Potentially acting as a business partner to the senior leadership team, offering sound commercial advice based on insightful analysis
The ideal candidate will either be a Qualified Accountant, already used to performing a leadership role OR a finalist/newly Qualified Accountant who can grow into this role (the CFO will offer training and development, and the salary will naturally be adjusted accordingly). The leadership team are engaging, positive, and ambitious individuals - this would suit someone with plenty of initiative who can match their energy and passion.
