This exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful, multi-national construction firm, seeking to appoint a new member to their growing team. Based in Welwyn Garden City, your main responsibilities will be to support the finance team with responsibility for transactional accounts and customer admin.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the transactional responsibilities will include:
- Bank reconciliation for UK and Ireland companies (Sterling & Euros)
- Cashbook and General ledger entries/journals
- Analysing and reconciling credit card statements
- Processing/Creating payments onto financial software
- Management and escalation (where necessary) of debtor financial queries
- Allocating receivables to the correct accounts and managing or escalating any enquiries
- Debt chasing and liaising with debt collection agencies, as well as producing legal collection letters and CCJ production
- Checking and administering credit limits, as well as checking new supplier credentials and adding them to our system
- Generating and sending customer statements on a monthly basis
- Processing payroll, employee mileage/expense claims (if cover required)
- Further administrative and financial duties on an ad-hoc basis
