We have a new and exciting opportunity for a full-time Solicitor/CILEX/Licensed Conveyancer, with at least 3 years PQE, to join our Conveyancing Team. The successful candidate will be working for a well-respected firm which has grown and flourished in recent years.

Jackson West is a leading Midlands Law Firm with Offices in Bloxham, Rugby & Stratford upon Avon. We have departments including; Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Wills, Trusts and Probate, Care and Private Family Law.

About the Role

You will be joining a well-established team with an extensive wealth of experience in conveyancing work. The role represents an excellent opportunity to be heavily involved in the continued growth and development of the team while working closely with the head of the department.

Key responsibilities

  • Ability to work in a standalone position as required;
  • Provide expert conveyancing advice to clients throughout the transaction process;
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and other property related documents;
  • Reviewing searches and Land Registry applications;
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other parties to ensure a smooth transaction;
  • Market the conveyancing services and build new professional relationships to increase revenue;

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years Post Qualification Experience;
  • Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload efficiently;
  • Awareness of compliance requirements;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Full Driving Licence.
