We are recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Child Care Team in Rugby on a full-time and permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Support the team by carrying out all secretarial tasks and help, when necessary, with all administrative tasks including audio typing.
- Assisting the fee earners with financial management e.g., disbursements, Legal Aid processing work.
- Liaising with experts.
- Diary management, arranging and making arrangements for meetings; booking meeting rooms or external venues as required.
- E-filing.
- Legal Aid administrative work.
- Time recording.
- Answering the telephone and making telephone calls as required.
Your Skills and Experience
- Previous Legal Secretary / Secretarial experience with quick audio typing speed.
- Strong experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in case management systems.
- Exceptional prioritising/organisational skills.
- Strong ability to self-manage a large workload in a busy team.
- Good client care skills and an ability to show compassion in difficult circumstances.
