We have a new and exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Solicitor or CILEX to join our award‑winning Commercial Property team to provide additional resources to facilitate growth and expansion within our current team of 23 members.
Based at our Stockton office, the successful candidate will be joining a supportive and collegiate team that has an excellent reputation and prides itself upon its ability to deliver a tailored service to all clients.
About The Role
- Managing a mixed case load of commercial sales, purchases, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending and corporate support.
- Active involvement in business development with a view to developing professional relationships and growing client base.
- Drafting and negotiating legal documentation including agreements for lease, leases, ancillary lease documents, contracts for sale, deeds of grant.
- Providing support and assistance to senior members of the team in connection with site acquisitions and disposals, corporate support work and agricultural matters, as and when required.
This role is open to candidates seeking full time or part time working options.

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
- A minimum 1+ year experience.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and excellent client care standards.
- Willingness to learn and broaden areas of expertise.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to travel to the firm’s Newcastle office on an occasional basis, in line with the needs of the business.
