Salary: $29.84/hourJob Duties:
- Manages functions including timekeeping, human resources activities, inventories for fleet and operations, and reports; coordinates building/groundskeeping needs and repairs.
- On call 24/7 for inclement weather and emergencies; researches training opportunities for operations, fleet, and administrative staff, and recommends training to management; assists with the annual road program, ice and snow removal, and annual work plan.
- Coordinates operations within the department and ensures requests for service is investigated; visits jobsites during construction season; and is liaison for the department dealing with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Responsible for assisting in the preparation of an annual budget for procurement of goods and services for the department.
- Associate's Degree or the equivalent. Specialized training or certification in a related field may be required.
- Five years of public administrative experience in the public or private sector.
- A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
- Must possess a valid Class B CDL or obtain a Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
