This is an exceptional opportunity for an Architectural Technologist, Part II Architectural Assistant or recently qualified Architect looking to make their first move into contractor-side Design Management.

If you've gained experience working on luxury residential or prime refurbishment projects and want to become more involved in how exceptional buildings are actually delivered, this could be the perfect next step.

Our client offers a different environment. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, Design Managers and Commercial teams, gaining exposure to every stage of the construction process while developing your own career within a supportive and growing business.

The Role

Working as part of an established Design Management team, you'll assist with the coordination and delivery of complex super-prime residential projects from pre-construction through to completion. You'll be involved in:

  • Coordinating architectural and consultant information
  • Supporting the management of the design programme
  • Reviewing technical drawings and specifications
  • Liaising with architects, consultants and specialist subcontractors
  • Assisting with Contractor Design Portion packages
  • Supporting Project Managers and Site Teams throughout construction
  • Helping resolve technical design challenges as projects progress

This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you'll receive ongoing mentoring from experienced Design Managers and develop the skills needed to progress your career.

The Person

We're looking for someone who is passionate about architecture, construction and exceptional design. You'll ideally have:

  • An Architectural Technology, Architecture or related construction qualification
  • Experience working on luxury residential, prime residential or high-end refurbishment projects
  • Strong technical understanding and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A genuine interest in moving into Design Management

Whether you're currently working as an Architectural Technologist, Part II Architectural Assistant or have recently qualified as an Architect, we'd love to hear from you if you're looking for your first opportunity within contractor-side Design Management.

Why Join?

  • Genuine first step into Design Management
  • Join a respected and growing super-prime contractor
  • Structured mentoring from experienced Design Managers
  • Work alongside leading architects, consultants and designers
  • Early exposure to live construction projects
  • Excellent long-term career progression
  • Supportive and collaborative culture
  • Opportunity to work on some of London's most prestigious residential developments

This is an outstanding opportunity to build a long-term career within super-prime construction. If you're looking for your first break into Design Management and want to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.
