Jackson Young is looking for a Construction Director / Operations Director to take a senior leadership role within a highly respected main contractor operating in the central London market. Our client is looking for an experienced pair of hands that can make a real impact over the next 2-5 years.

This company is a "go to" business for a high quality, well delivered product, with project values in the £10m - £75m region. It works with blue chip retail, commercial developers, private individuals and cultural institutions, and boasts an interesting and varied portfolio. It spends a lot of time in the right areas, building long term relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and sub contractors, focusing on unlocking the design, getting their schemes set up correctly, and building the strongest teams. It is doing construction right.

This appointment will be a senior leadership role sat under the board where you will take project delivery responsibilities across 2 - 4 schemes from tender to completion. It is a hands on role and, as part of the small senior leadership team, will also include mentorship, strategy, client development and so on.

They are looking for someone with a long track record of delivering complicated city centre schemes in a senior role, ideally managing more than one at a time. They are happy to consider people looking for their final move as well as others with less experience.

The business can offer you one of the best environments to be working in. The board is highly experienced, very supportive and focused on the right things such as quality rather than quantity, and building solid, long term relationships with clients. The calibre of employees is very high so your team will be staffed with people you can be 100% confident in and they work with the best sub-contractors and suppliers in the business. You will be set up for success.
