We're working with a specialist super-prime residential contractor looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support projects in and around South West London and Prime Central London. The role You'll take a leading role in the commercial management of high-end residential projects, working closely with the project team, clients, consultants and specialist subcontractors to keep schemes on track commercially. Depending on the projects and the arrangement agreed, your responsibilities could include: Managing the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account. Preparing and monitoring budgets, cost plans, forecasts and financial reports. Procuring and managing specialist subcontract packages. Managing variations, valuations, payments and contractual matters. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and providing clear advice to the project team. Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain. About you You'll be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable taking ownership of a project and working closely with the wider delivery team. You'll bring a practical, collaborative approach and be confident dealing with the detail that comes with high-quality residential construction. Ideally, you'll have experience with a main contractor delivering prime or super-prime residential projects. We would also be interested in hearing from people with a strong background in high-end refurbishment, luxury fit-out or similarly detailed construction projects who feel their experience would transfer well.
