A growing super-prime residential contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for high-quality residential projects in London.

The business is going through a significant period of growth, delivering projects typically ranging from £5m to £20m.

Their work combines complex structural and technical elements with the exceptional detailing and quality of finish expected within the prime residential market.

The role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of a £15m refurbishment project in Kensington involving structural alterations and a beautiful fitout. from start through to final account.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, taking responsibility for procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, cost reporting and all other day-to-day commercial matters.

You will have the autonomy to run your project commercially and will be expected to take ownership, make decisions and ensure commercial matters are dealt with effectively and promptly.

The person
You will need proven experience of commercially managing construction projects from start to finish, ideally within high-end residential refurbishment or another relevant specialist construction environment.

Experience working on complex refurbishment projects would be particularly valuable, as would previous experience within the prime or super-prime residential sector.
