This opportunity would suit an Estimator looking to work on truly bespoke projects, where quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued above volume. Our client offers a different environment. Rather than pricing repetitive packages, you'll become involved in some of the industry's most technically challenging and beautifully detailed joinery projects. Every scheme is different, requiring a thoughtful and collaborative approach to estimating from the earliest stages of the tender process.

The Role

Working closely with the Commercial Director, Design Team and Production Managers, you'll prepare accurate and competitive estimates for bespoke joinery packages across a wide range of super-prime residential projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and design information
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers and specialist subcontractors
  • Assessing labour, material and manufacturing costs
  • Identifying value opportunities without compromising quality or design intent
  • Liaising with clients, architects and project teams throughout the tender process
  • Supporting handovers to the delivery team following successful bids

Projects range from individual feature joinery packages through to complete internal fit-outs for some of London's most prestigious private residences.

The Person

We're looking for an organised and commercially aware individual who enjoys technical detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work. You'll ideally have:

  • Experience estimating within joinery, fit-out, interiors or specialist subcontracting
  • The ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical information
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
  • Experience within super-prime residential or luxury interiors would be advantageous, although candidates from other high-quality specialist subcontractors will also be considered.

Why Join?

  • Work on exceptional bespoke joinery projects
  • Join a respected and growing specialist contractor
  • Collaborate with leading architects, designers and super-prime main contractors
  • Supportive and experienced commercial team
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression
  • Long-term role within a successful and ambitious business

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to work on some of the finest bespoke joinery projects in the UK while developing their career within a business renowned for quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
