The Project
Our client is a well-established super-prime residential contractor delivering a high-quality townhouse refurbishment in Knightsbridge. The project involves complex refurbishment works, high-end finishes, and specialist subcontract packages typical of the Prime Central London market. Due to programme requirements, they are seeking an experienced Contract Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of the scheme on a long-term contract basis.
The Role
You will work closely with the Project Director and site team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day commercial management of the project. This role is well suited to a contractor with solid super-prime or high-end residential experience who can integrate quickly into an established team and operate with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day commercial management of the Knightsbridge townhouse refurbishment
- Subcontract procurement, administration, and package management
- Preparation and agreement of subcontractor valuations and payments
- Management of variations, change control, and cost reporting
- Forecasting and cashflow management
- Supporting final account preparation and commercial close-out
- Liaising with the project team to ensure commercial and programme alignment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on super-prime or high-end residential refurbishment projects
