Jackson Young is looking for a Construction Director to take a divisional leadership role within a fast growing, highly respected main contractor operating in the central London market.
The company: This company is a "go to" business for a high quality, well delivered product, with project values in the £10m - £70m region, a very busy market right now.
It works with commercial developers and end users and boasts an interesting and varied portfolio of fit out and heavy cut and carve schemes.
It spends a lot of time in the right areas... building long term relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and sub contractors, focusing on unlocking the design / getting their schemes set up correctly, and building the strongest teams.
It is doing construction right.
The role: This appointment will be a senior leadership role reporting to the group board and taking responsibility for multiple delivery units.
It is a hands on role and, as part of the small senior leadership team, will also include mentorship, strategy, client development and so on.
It will suit someone already in the role but the business will look consider PDs, SPMs, Contracts Managers looking to step up.
The person: They are looking for someone with a track record of delivering complicated commercial schemes in a senior role, ideally managing more than one at a time.
