We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Part-Time Caretaker to join a residential development. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and providing excellent service to residents.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am-1pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out day-to-day caretaking duties across the residential development
- Ensuring communal areas (internal and external) are kept clean, safe, and well presented
- Undertaking basic maintenance and minor repairs (e.g. lighting, minor plumbing, painting)
- Managing waste and recycling areas
- Conducting regular health & safety checks and reporting any issues
- Liaising with residents, managing agents, and contractors in a professional manner
- Responding to maintenance issues and emergencies as required
- Supporting the smooth running of the development at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a caretaker, handyman, maintenance, or similar role
- Practical and hands-on with good basic maintenance knowledge
- Strong awareness of health & safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
- Willingness to be flexible with working hours if required
