We're recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and expanding company based in the City of London.

The Role As a Residential Property Service Charge Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential developments, preparing accurate service charge accounts and working closely with property managers to ensure the highest level of financial reporting and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end residential service charge accounts.
- Reconcile service charge income and expenditure for a portfolio of residential properties.
- Produce service charge budgets and forecasts.
- Work closely with Property Managers, auditors and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with current accounting standards and industry best practice.
- Investigate and resolve service charge queries from leaseholders, managing agents and internal teams.
- Assist with audits and support continuous improvements within the finance function. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience preparing service charge accounts (essential).
- Previous experience working within the property or real estate sector.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
