Location: City of London

Hours: Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm

Work Type: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

The role

The Team Leader is a pivotal role within the business. You will be responsible for coordinating all internal and external resources to effectively oversee the teams portfolio of residential estates and deliver outstanding service to customers. You will work closely with key stakeholders and will be responsible for managing, supporting, motivating, and leading the team to success.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Qualifications
  • TPI qualification required
  • Other property-related qualifications (e.g. RICS) are desirable
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 8 years relevant management experience
    • Background in block management; experience in surveying will also be considered
    • Strong experience in budget management, financial control, and delivering cost efficiencies
    • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. Landlord & Tenant Act, RICS Codes)
    • Detailed working knowledge of building management, systems maintenance, and repair projects
    • Strong customer relationship management experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent time management, prioritisation, delegation, and project management skills
    • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with confidence handling financial information
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including formal correspondence
    • Strong IT skills; experience with Qube is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office and mail merge
    • Strong people management skills, with the ability to adapt leadership style as required
    • Commercially astute, with a strong awareness of business realities
