Job Description
Our client prides themselves on maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming residential communities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Residential Building Caretaker to join their team and help them uphold their commitment to excellence.
Position Overview:As a Residential Building Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the residential properties. You will be responsible for a range of maintenance tasks, tenant relations, and property management activities, contributing to a positive living environment for our residents.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm & Saturday 08:30am to 12pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning common areas, landscaping, and minor repairs.
- Assist with tenant requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and supplies.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts.
- Assist with emergency response procedures when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or property management preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Availability for on-call emergencies and flexible hours as needed.
