Are you an experienced Facilities Management professional looking for your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a regional portfolio, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality FM services and full compliance with health and safety standards. You’ll lead and inspire a team, manage a diverse property portfolio, and play a critical role in operational excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the regional FM team, acting as the go-to expert across your portfolio
- Ensure health & safety compliance and effective risk management across all managed sites
- Drive consistency in service delivery by aligning regional operations with national FM strategies and policies
- Oversee the procurement of services, ensuring all processes and contract documentation meet policy standards
- Manage and monitor contractor performance, ensuring delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Support utility management processes and resolve issues in collaboration with external consultants
- Deliver FM services to a consistently high standard, focused on service excellence and efficiency
- Mentor and develop team members to help them reach their full potential
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in operational FM or a related discipline, with leadership experience
- Professional qualifications such as MIWFM (minimum requirement) and a commitment to achieving AssocRICS status within 2 years
- Health & safety qualifications, including IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum (with willingness to gain NEBOSH within 12 months)
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering results across complex portfolios
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget control and forecasting
- Deep understanding of compliance, risk management, and contractor oversight
