We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations of a busy residential site. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining safe, high-quality living environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Manage contractors, service schedules, and compliance checks
- Ensure health safety standards and statutory testing are completed
- Carry out general repairs, inspections, and building maintenance
- Support site operations including emergency response and on-call duties
- Monitor maintenance budgets, stock levels, and supplies
- Work closely with onsite teams to maintain excellent resident experience
About You
- Previous maintenance or facilities management experience within residential, hospitality, accommodation, or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of health safety and building compliance
- Experience with general maintenance including plumbing and/or electrical work
- Able to manage workload effectively and respond to emergencies when required
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification desirable but not essential
