X2 Night Security Officer

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours:
8:00pm – 8:00am | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off
We are currently recruiting for two professional and customer focused Night Security Officers to join a luxury residential development in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security professional who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards within a residential environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of the building, residents, visitors and staff throughout the night shift.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the building, communal areas, entrances and surrounding premises.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms and access control systems where required.
- Monitor entrances and exits, ensuring that only authorised individuals gain access to the premises.
- Challenge and report suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, alarms and emergencies.
- Assist residents with security-related enquiries and provide a professional, helpful service.
- Liaise with the concierge team and building management to report incidents, concerns and maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports and shift handover records.
- Ensure all doors, access points and communal areas are secure during the night.
- Follow fire safety procedures, emergency protocols and health and safety requirements.
- Report any suspicious behaviour, damage, hazards or breaches of building security to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide a detailed handover to the incoming security or concierge team at the end of each shift.
Essential Requirements
- Must hold a valid SIA licence appropriate to the security duties performed.
- Previous experience in security, preferably within a residential or concierge environment.
- Good observation, communication and incident-reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain vigilant throughout night shifts.
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to emergencies and challenging situations.
- Right to work in the UK.
