Salary: £18,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day (25 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Caretaker to work at a residential apartment building in South East London. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of the building and communal areas, providing a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and maintenance of communal areas (hallways, entrance, bin stores, etc.)
• General DIY and basic repairs (e.g., changing lightbulbs, minor fixes)
• Monitoring and reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Liaising with contractors and management when required
• Assisting with deliveries and access for tradespeople
• Ensuring refuse areas are kept clean and bins are managed correctly

About You

• Friendly, approachable and responsible
• Previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, or building maintenance role (preferred but not essential)
• Basic maintenance / DIY skills
