The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We have an opportunity for a Technical Engineer based at either our Manchester or Newcastle office. The successful applicant will report directly to the Technical Manager, and the main areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Supporting all departments with technical problems in the field
- Conducting technical surveys and producing technical reports
- Carrying out technical fault analysis
- Liaising with clients and suppliers when carrying out site modifications or upgrades
- Software backup and the use of specialist diagnostic equipment
- The use and control of specialist technical equipment
- The repair of printed circuit boards and other associated electronic equipment
- Providing support, mostly by telephone, out of normal hours
- Testing of new and modernised installations
The successful candidate must have the following:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
- Ideally NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent, although training will be provided for a suitable candidate
- EOR202 Basic Lift Safety or equivalent
- A current, valid driving licence
- A DBS check will be required
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
