We have a vacancy for an Installations Engineering Surveyor, based in the London office. Ideally, candidates should have a proven technical expertise and leadership skills in the lift engineering sector and will be responsible for:
- Engineering projects alongside our drawing office and management team.
- The purchase and planning of all materials for projects.
- Assisting in coordinating lift engineers on-site to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintaining accurate surveys and site records.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Installation Managers and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Undertaking surveys as necessary.
- Attending design and progress meetings with the client team.
- Conducting site inspections and quality checks on lift installations.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and resolve any site-related issues.
As always, personality and customer care are of vital importance. However, in the modern environment, the ability to properly communicate electronically through email, customer internet-based portals and other electronic media requires the successful applicant to have the following basic skills:
- Either 5 GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) at level A to C or relevant proven experience.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and internal departments.
