We have an opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join our busy London office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated Accounts Administration team, with exposure to both Sales and Purchase functions. This is a varied position combining administrative, clerical, and customer-facing responsibilities. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the accounts function.

The main areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Processing and issuing invoices.
  • Assisting the Credit Control team with daily activities.
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Preparing and providing supporting documents for sales invoices (including service runs, callouts, and repairs).
  • Matching documentation (e.g. service sheets, job cards, site records) to invoice items.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate digital filing systems using correct naming conventions.
  • Sending supporting documentation to clients as required.
  • Following up on remittance advices and journal payments.
  • Handling customer queries via email and telephone.
  • Uploading and maintaining data on customer portals.
  • Producing and issuing customer statements.

Full training will be provided for the company-specific systems.

Skills and Experience to be considered:

  • Inexperienced candidate with a business background looking to gain skills.
  • Experience in volume transaction processing.
  • Previous Accounts experience or knowledge.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Confidence with IT systems.
  • The ability to work quietly and unsupervised using one’s initiative.
