Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham for an Escalator Engineer. The Escalator Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and minor repair of escalators. The role entails ensuring compliance with safety regulations, diagnosing technical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and providing high-quality service to customers. Collaboration with team members and providing clear communication with clients is essential to maintain operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Escalator service / repair level 3 NVQ qualifications.
- In-depth understanding of escalator mechanics, service and safety standards.
- Experience in escalator maintenance and repair.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- Willingness to operate in an on-site capacity and flexible to travel locally as required.
- Full UK driving licence.
