We are looking for a Tender Engineer to support a fantastic organisation based in Blyth.
Responsibilities:
- Thorough review of ITT, definition of Client/tender requirements, preparation of Tender Summary Slides, and dissemination of relevant tender information to all relevant parties supporting the tender.
- Define solution to RFQ from Enshore Asset pool.
- Produce method statements for installation methodology.
- Produce deck layouts on AutoCAD.
- Produce equipment lists for defined methodology.
- Prepare and submit approved technical tender documentation.
- Review Scope of Work documentation and produce gap analysis.
- Manage responses to technical clarifications received by the Client in a timely manner, gathering responses from internal departments where necessary.
- Produce Technical Qualifications Log.
- Lead site visits including identifying local suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify key issues and report to Tender Team.
- Lead technical aspect of contract handovers to the project team on successful tenders and provide support throughout the life of the project, including attendance at lessons learnt meetings.
- Input and update key prospects within the company CRM system.
- Develop working relationships with colleagues.
- Find opportunities to develop the department knowledge and skills.
Experience:
- Experience working in the offshore sector (ideally renewables).
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient in MS Project.
- Track record of defining technical solutions and clearly presenting these to clients.
- Experience developing complex costings from scratch.
- Ability to carry out basic calculations and analysis where required.
- Basic understanding of contract terms and conditions.
