Server & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to manage our clients Cloud environment focussing on design, implementation and maintenance. This role is a mix of project based work with the opportunity to work on a number of exciting business critical projects including cutting edge technology implementations and some 3rd line support where necessary. Extensive MS suite experience – Widows Server administration / Office 365 product stack / Active Directory & Group Policy / Azure administration, design, support and maintenance. Experience in network topology, firewall management and anti-virus software. Public Cloud Infrastructure Management which involves provisioning, configuration and maintaining various Cloud resources to ensure scalability, reliability and security. Monitoring and Performance Optimisation by implementing monitoring solutions to track performance and identify areas for optimisation to enhance user experience and automate improvements where possible. System Availability and Reliability by ensuring high availability and data integrity through proactive monitoring, alerting, backups and DR planning and testing. Continuous Improvement by staying updated with the latest Cloud & Infrastructure technologies and continuously evaluating and proposing enhancements to existing systems, services and processes whilst also ensuring ongoing skills development through personal training and certifications.
