Senior Power Electronics Engineer β€” Newcastle upon Tyne area based, commutable from Gateshead, Sunderland, County Durham, North & South Tyneside and surrounding areas.

Your purpose:

  • Technical development and optimisation of power electronic products
  • Lead colleagues in Projects, Design, Test & Build. Including R&D & NPD

Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed input to the design
  • Make recommendations for product design changes
  • Create and maintain design verification plans for new products
  • Analyse test data and create test reports
  • Collaborate with multi discipline teams
  • Review and define requirements for new products

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or similar disciplines
  • Sound theoretical knowledge of power electronics
  • People/Team/Project leadership examples and experience is important
