Senior Power Electronics Engineer β Newcastle upon Tyne area based, commutable from Gateshead, Sunderland, County Durham, North & South Tyneside and surrounding areas.
Your purpose:
- Technical development and optimisation of power electronic products
- Lead colleagues in Projects, Design, Test & Build. Including R&D & NPD
Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed input to the design
- Make recommendations for product design changes
- Create and maintain design verification plans for new products
- Analyse test data and create test reports
- Collaborate with multi discipline teams
- Review and define requirements for new products
Education & Experience
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or similar disciplines
- Sound theoretical knowledge of power electronics
- People/Team/Project leadership examples and experience is important
