Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading engineering business that delivers innovative safety and life-support solutions across various industries, such as energy, healthcare, and petrochemicals. Due to continued growth, they\’re looking for a Field Project Engineer to join their operations team and support projects throughout the South East.

You\’ll take ownership of project delivery from planning through to on-site commissioning. You\’ll act as the technical link between engineering design and field execution, ensuring all installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Responsibilities

Conducting site surveys and technical assessments.

Coordinating and supervising installations with internal and external teams.

Performing FAT/SAT testing, loop checks, and system commissioning.

Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

Ensuring compliance with all project and safety standards.

Permanent role based in the South East on a remote basis with 60% travel.

Qualifications

HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Demonstrable experience in field-based projects or commissioning work.

Strong understanding of ATEX, DSEAR, or other regulated environments (optional but advantageous).

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Flexibility to travel frequently across the South East.
