Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a Director of Business Development. Our client is a leading provider of advanced inspection solutions serving the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries.

This role is responsible for leading the division's global growth strategy, product line management, applications leadership, and strategic marketing direction. The successful candidate will drive sustainable business growth through deep semiconductor market expertise, customer engagement, technology insight, and portfolio development.

Working closely with the Divisional Vice President and leadership team, the Director of Business Development will identify, prioritize, and execute growth opportunities across semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, heterogeneous integration, AI and high-performance computing, and power semiconductor. The role will develop and execute strategic growth plans while evaluating both organic and inorganic opportunities to accelerate market expansion.

The position requires a highly experienced commercial and strategic leader with a strong track record in semiconductor capital equipment, inspection, test, metrology, process control, or related technology sectors. The individual will possess a unique combination of market insight, product management expertise, business development capability, and executive leadership skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the semiconductor or advanced electronics industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in business development, product management, strategic marketing, commercial leadership, or related functions.
  • Proven track record of commercial success within semiconductor capital equipment, inspection, metrology, test, process control, or advanced manufacturing technology markets.
  • Experience developing and managing products through the full product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated success leading global teams within complex, technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, advanced packaging technologies, quality and reliability requirements, and industry ecosystem dynamics.
  • Experience working in a global business environment with customers and stakeholders across Asia, North America, and Europe.
