We are working with a leading UK-based manufacturer who are currently expanding their engineering department and seeking a talented CAD/Draughtsman to join their team. With a reputation for delivering high-performance, bespoke products, their clients are across various sectors including industrial, commercial, healthcare, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce precise 2D technical drawings to support the sales and estimation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop accurate and timely drawings for client proposals.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and client specifications.
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
  • Develop and modify 3D models using Autodesk Inventor to meet project requirements.
  • Review and edit 2D 'flat pattern' files for accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Prepare nesting layouts and generate punch/bend programs for CNC machinery.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design and production processes.
