Jackson Hogg is delighted to be recruiting a Production Director for one of our clients based in Bradford, leading their joinery division.
Reporting directly to the Owner, the Production Director will take full responsibility for the operational, commercial and strategic performance of the division, ensuring the business continues to deliver exceptional quality, customer service and financial results.
This role requires a leader who can successfully balance manufacturing excellence with project delivery, customer engagement and commercial performance.
The successful candidate will provide visible leadership across the factory, technical, project management and installation teams whilst driving continuous improvement, productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Lead all day-to-day operations across manufacturing, technical and installation functions.
- Ensure production plans are aligned to customer and project delivery requirements.
- Drive a culture of accountability, safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- Monitor operational KPIs including productivity, utilisation, OTIF delivery and quality performance.
- Identify and remove operational bottlenecks to improve business performance.
- Commercial Performance
- Deliver agreed revenue, gross profit and EBITDA targets.
- Support the development and execution of the division's growth strategy.
- Work closely with customers, contractors, architects and design partners to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
- Improve project profitability through effective planning, resource allocation and cost control.
- Support pricing, tender reviews and commercial decision-making.
- Lead, coach and develop functional leaders and wider teams.
- Build a high-performance culture based on accountability, collaboration and customer focus.
- Drive employee engagement and succession planning across the division.
- Promote strong communication and visibility across all departments.
- Project & Customer Delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with project and installation teams to ensure successful site execution.
- Act as a senior point of contact for key customers where required.
- Champion customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.

- Contribute to the future direction of the Joinery Division.
