Control System Engineer in Bath

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading offshore subsea engineering business which delivers offshore equipment to clients worldwide. It is a very exciting time to join this progressive team, as they are expanding their offices and looking to bring an experienced Controls Engineer that will work on their fast-paced, leading projects.Design control system circuits and documentation.Develop PLC, HMI/SCADA systems and software.Configure and commission inverter drives.Checks and approves electrical schematics and calculations.Review designs against DNV and/or other standards.Contribute to sales proposals.Liaise with suppliers.Experience in designing and commissioning safety automation and control systems for marine and/or hazardous environments.Experience in PLC programming.On-site commissioning and fault-finding experience.Experience with DNV certification (optional).Experience with SIL (optional).This is a permanent, full time on site role with occassional travel abroad and offshore, depending on the project.
