Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnered with a well-established global client on the appointment of a Supply Chain Manager. As part of the Senior Leadership Team and leading a team of 6 direct reports, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading the full Supply Chain function in driving best practice, optimising internal processes from demand forecasting, order management, procurement, planning and scheduling, SIOP, warehouse operations, logistics to customer service and delivery to ensure that company budgets, objectives and vision are achieved and customer expectations are met.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and driven Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of a well-established function, drive improvements and best practice to bring it from good to great. Key Skills & Experience
- Proven success within a strategic Supply Chain Leadership position
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of key manufacturing principles such as Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement
- Excellent communication skills with the reporting ability to Site and Group level as well as to build rapport and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and customers
- Previous experience delivering monthly reports on KPIs and progress against targets and objectives to Senior Leadership and Group Level
- Experience leading and delivering robust sourcing strategies and effectively managing supplier relationships and performance
- Proven experience shaping and implementing SIOP
- Strong working proficiency with MRP / ERP systems, ideally SAP
- A coaching and collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate, engage, inspire and develop direct and indirect members of a cross functional team
