Jackson Hogg is exclusively partnering with a growing engineering and project delivery business to appoint an experienced Warehouse Manager based in Skelton. If you’re highly organised, hands-on, and confident running a busy warehouse with full responsibility for equipment, assets, and people — this role offers real scope to make an impact. You’ll lead the warehouse function across goods-in, stock control, asset tracking, and dispatch — ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and in line with project needs. There’s a big focus on process improvement, kit readiness, and collaborative working with procurement and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leading and planning daily workloads for the warehouse team
  • Driving improvements in warehouse layout, goods-in processes, and kit readiness
  • Ensuring stock is accurately valued and costs correctly issued via Sage
  • Managing asset tracking systems — logging, tagging, and maintaining all equipment
  • Implementing stock level controls for consumables and PPE
  • Maintaining accurate registers and ensuring all project equipment is inspected, certified, and accounted for
  • Supporting warehouse capacity planning around project lifecycles
  • Ensuring full compliance with HSE policies and safe working practices
  • Acting as the warehouse lead for internal systems and reporting

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics leadership role
  • Solid understanding of project-based warehouse operations and asset control
  • Familiarity with Sage or similar ERP/stock systems
  • Strong communicator and confident team leader
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple demands
  • Full UK driving licence
