Jackson Hogg is supporting a global manufacturing business in their search for a Senior Production Planner to drive production planning, scheduling and operational performance across their Production site. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of planning activity, ensuring production runs smoothly, materials are in place and customer demand is consistently met.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all production planning and scheduling activities across the site
- Develop and optimise production schedules to meet customer demand and service levels
- Own MPS/MRP planning through SAP
- Identify capacity constraints and bottlenecks, implementing solutions to maintain flow
- Lead daily and weekly scheduling meetings
- Ensure material availability across raw materials, WIP and finished goods
- Work closely with Procurement to manage supplier performance and mitigate shortages
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Strong background in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing
- Proven experience developing and implementing planning processes and systems
- Solid working knowledge of SAP
- Strong understanding of MRP, capacity planning and inventory control
- Advanced Excel skills
