Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a growing project engineering business on the appointment of a Purchasing Manager. With projects delivered across the UK, Europe, and Asia, the company continues to expand its capabilities and strengthen its supply chain and is looking for a dynamic Purchasing and Procurement professional to join the team.
About the Role
Due to growth, this is a newly created position. As Purchasing Manager, you’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team, playing a vital role in both operational and strategic procurement activities. Your remit will include the tasks of shaping a best-in-class procurement function that ensures goods and services are sourced on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role isn’t just about managing the buying process, it’s also about building rapport and supplier relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving continuous improvement and best practice within procurement. You’ll also lead a small but capable team, support high-value tenders, and contribute to key business functions like project planning, financial forecasting, and post-project reviews.
