Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our well-established Global client with the appointment of an Operations Engineer on a FTC or Contract basis. This role will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of contractual O&M programs, key stakeholder reporting, and attending fault calls both onshore & offshore across various sites. There is an option for FTC or Contract, with an immediate start available this is not an opportunity to be missed. Job Description * Execute & manage high voltage maintenance activities, including inspections, protection testing, oil sampling, data collection, equipment repair/replacement as per OEM requirements. * Complete maintenance reports, update site asset management systems and liaison with Asset Management Team for upcoming and completed work. * Leading by example & in conjunction with the Management Team & the Regional HSE Team ensure a proactive safety culture & zero tolerance for accidents & self-inflicted incidents at all levels of operation. * Support the additional works process by logging known issues/defects with EDS Asset Management team, liaising with the client on technical queries & delivering work packages ensuring that correct costs are captured for timely invoicing. * Coordination, Induction & Management of sub-contractors where these are required for delivery of planned & reactive maintenance activities & additional service works. Skills Required * Extensive experience of High Voltage Systems * Strong experience of windfarm design, Construction and O&M * Experience of developing and managing operations teams in a transmission, construction or O&M renewables environment * Technical knowledge of Offshore Wind System lifecycle and various stages of design, installation, monitoring and maintenance * Experience working with Turbine and Power Cable OEM\’s Please apply today
