Workshop Technician in Northumberland

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys fault-finding, repairing, upgrading and testing specialist equipment within a workshop environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer equipment is serviced, repaired and returned to the highest standards of quality and performance. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment, maintenance and upgrade of specialist equipment, along with associated mechanical components. * Diagnosing faults on mechanical equipment and tooling * Disassembling, inspecting and rebuilding equipment to manufacturer standards * Testing and calibrating equipment following repair * Completing workshop documentation and service reports accurately * Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment * Supporting continuous improvement activities across the workshop * Managing workloads to ensure customer deadlines are achieved Training will be provided on Hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
