Jackson Hogg are supporting a leading manufacturing business in the search for 2 Quality Assurance Technicians to join their Quality team on an initial 6-month temporary contract, with the potential for one position to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience within FMCG, food, beverage, packaging or fast-paced manufacturing environments who are looking to join a well-established business with a strong quality culture.
The Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will support quality activities across multiple operational areas, ensuring products, materials and processes meet both customer and internal quality standards.
Working closely with Production, Operations and Technical teams, you will play a key role in maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first-off inspections and quality checks throughout production.
- Conduct material and incoming goods quality verification.
- Monitor product quality against specifications and standards.
- Support investigations into quality issues and non-conformances.
- Complete quality documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements.
- Assist with audits, inspections and compliance activities.
- Ensure quality procedures and work instructions are followed at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Promote a strong quality and food safety culture throughout the business.
- Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience within a Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Quality Technician role.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across departments.
- Confident completing quality documentation and records.
Desirable
- FMCG, food, beverage, packaging or high-volume manufacturing experience.
- Understanding of quality management systems and quality standards.
- Experience carrying out first-off inspections and material quality checks.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
