We are recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering and technology business seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join its product development team. This position offers the opportunity to work across the complete product lifecycle, from concept and schematic design through to PCB layout, prototype development, testing, validation and production support. The role would suit someone who enjoys being involved in practical engineering projects and wants to see their designs progress into real-world products. Key Responsibilities * Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronic circuits. * Create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer. * Support component selection, BOM management and design documentation. * Build, test and debug prototype hardware using standard laboratory equipment. * Work closely with firmware, mechanical, production and test teams throughout development projects * Support EMC, compliance and product validation activities. * Assist with the transition of products from development into manufacture. Requirements * Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent experience within Electronic Engineering. * Experience in electronics hardware design and PCB development. * Strong schematic capture and PCB layout capability. * Experience using Altium Designer or similar ECAD software. * Comfortable with prototyping, fault-finding and hardware testing. * Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I²C or UART would be advantageous.
