Electrical Design Engineer
North East of England
Salary: up to £65,000 basic + benefits
Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading industrial infrastructure business based in the Teesside area. Our client is looking to bring an Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in delivering electrical infrastructure improvements and capital investment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver electrical CAPEX projects from concept through to completion
* Develop technical specifications, scopes of work and business cases
* Manage external engineering contractors and suppliers
* Oversee design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards
* Conduct site surveys and technical assessments
* Support asset improvement and infrastructure modernisation programmes
* Monitor project costs, budgets and schedules
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and health & safety requirements
* Provide technical expertise on LV electrical systems and infrastructure.
Key Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Experience delivering electrical engineering projects
* Knowledge of LV electrical systems and infrastructure
* Experience managing contractors and external suppliers
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience managing project budgets and schedules
* Full UK driving licence.
