This role sits at the heart of the Freight Desk, supporting day-to-day operational and administrative activity. You’ll help manage freight movements, coordinate transport requirements, support customs processes, and keep communication flowing across carriers, customers, and internal teams. Accuracy, organisation, and a proactive attitude are key. Role & Responsibilities In this role, you’ll take ownership of: * Core Freight Desk administration including data entry, document control, and shipment file management. * Ensuring all customs obligations are fulfilled accurately and on time for both import and export activity. * Coordinating daily freight movements across all modes, ensuring capacity is used effectively and carriers receive timely information. * Providing clear communication and operational visibility across the Freight Desk team. * Supporting wider departments with administrative tasks when required. * Assisting other Customer Support team members during quieter periods to keep workflow consistent.
