Due to continued growth, this is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, forward-thinking business producing high-quality bespoke quartz and stone worktops.
The Role
As a Stone Worktop Finisher, you will be responsible for the finishing, polishing, and quality inspection of bespoke stone and quartz worktops within a factory environment. This role would suit candidates with experience in stone worktops, quartz, granite, CNC finishing, polishing, or precision manufacturing, as well as individuals from other manufacturing backgrounds with strong hand-tool skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Finishing and polishing quartz and stone worktops
- Edge profiling, honing, and detailing to specification
- Inspecting finished products for defects or imperfections
- Operating hand tools and machinery including wet polishers, grinders, and CNC equipment
- Reading and following production job cards and work instructions
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards before dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Safe handling and movement of stone products using lifting equipment
- Working collaboratively with production and finishing teams
Skills & Experience
- Experience in stone worktops, quartz, granite, or solid surface finishing (desirable)
- Experience using hand tools, grinders, polishers, or CNC machinery
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, or precision production advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work rotating shifts
Training can be provided for candidates with transferable skills from other industries.
