Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with our client for the appointment of a HVAC Technician on a permanent basis.

This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday working from 07.30am until 3.30pm with over time available.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Technician to join the Engineering & Facilities team at one of the North East's largest industrial operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of facilities and critical infrastructure, supporting the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of essential building services systems.

Job Description

  • Commissioning and maintaining hot and cold water systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on heating, ventilation, and water systems.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across a varied asset base.
  • Responding to critical breakdowns and completing repairs within required timescales.
  • Supporting the safe and efficient operation of a large industrial estate and associated facilities.

Skills Required

  • Fully time-served HVAC Technician.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working on complex HVAC, heating, ventilation, and building services systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
