An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Test Technician to join a busy engineering team responsible for the assembly, testing and development of complex machinery and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, fault finding and working closely with engineers to ensure equipment performs to the required standards. You ll play a key role in building, testing and evaluating machinery, helping identify issues and supporting the development of new and existing products. Key Responsibilities * Mechanical assembly of machinery, sub-assemblies and test equipment. * Set up and conduct testing activities on mechanical systems and products. * Diagnose faults and investigate equipment failures to determine root causes. * Carry out inspections and assessments of components and assemblies. * Support commissioning, validation and performance testing activities. * Record test results and provide feedback to engineering teams. * Assist with modifications, improvements and development projects. * Work from engineering drawings, technical specifications and assembly instructions. * Support prototype builds and new product development activities. * Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
