The business operates across healthcare and industrial sectors where electrical safety and continuous operation are critical. Primarily working within the healthcare sector, across leading NHS Trusts and private hospitals, this role is responsible for the commissioning, servicing and rapid-response call-outs of Medical IT systems (IPS), theatre control panels, operating lights, medical tables and turnkey theatre packages.
Responsibilities
- Commission and service Medical IT systems, surgeons' control panels, theatre operating lights, medical tables, pendants and associated equipment
- Service third-party equipment where required
- Participate in an on-call rota and respond within agreed service-level timescales
- Log all cases and call-outs when working out of hours
- Represent the business professionally on-site, delivering excellent customer service to hospital staff, contractors and end users
- Complete job-specific risk assessments and method statements
- Support the industrial team with on-site technical commissioning and servicing as required
- Provide remote service monitoring and data analysis
- Deliver on-site training to customers on supplied equipment
- Attend site meetings where required
- Upload programmes upon project completion
- Work collaboratively with internal departments, promoting a strong "one team" approach

- Qualified Electrician - 18th Edition

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: £42,000 based on 37.5 hours per week, including an average of 20 hours out-of-hours work per month
- Additional earnings: Up to £20,000 through overtime and additional out-of-hours work
- Bonus: Eligibility to participate in the annual company bonus scheme
- Vehicle: Company van provided
- Holiday: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, with buy/sell option available
